Hello
My name is Jennae born and raised in Indianapolis, In. I'm 33 with no children (yet). I am the 3rd oldest out of 11 children. I've been working in OBGYN care for about 6 years now. At one point i wanted to be an OB doctor but life started to happen. I wanted to be involved in delivering babies I just didn't know where else to start. I did my research and decided to become a Doula. I became a Doula to not only be in the delivery room to see the beautiful babies but also be there for women who can't advocate for themselves during and after labor to give them the support they need. Not only am I a Birth and Postpartum Doula, I am also a Lactation Consultant, Childbirth Educator and Nutrition Educator. I am also proud to say that I am part of a wonderful collective of supportive women with IMBC(Indiana Melanated Birthworker Collective). It feels good to always have that support system while also doing Doula work. We all need a village and they are mine. I look forward to being your support during your beautiful journey. We Doula This Indy.
